Over dit project

For a side project I designed a conceptual playground & meeting place in the middle of a public park. The esthetics motivates children of different ages to come out and play. The open seating places for the parents or guardians can also be easily used by people who are meeting each other at this recognizable object. In the design process the natural elements were taken into account. For example, the youngest group of children can play in the morning sun and the object itself can be used as shelter and function as a wind breaker for to the dominant Dutch southwest wind.
